International superstar Sean Paul has returned to the recording studio working on his sixth album. He debuted the first single “The Other Side Of Love” today to give a sneak preview to his musical creation.
“The Other Side Of Love” is a song about his relationship falling apart, with the lyrics "Baby, you don't have to keep looking through my phone/ If something's going on, girl you'd already know/ We can't even say two words without a fight anymore/ How did we get here? Baby, I got to know."
Despite the song being about a break up it stays true to Sean Paul’s sound. It has the elements of hip hop, R & B pop and dance. It starts off slow and picks up to a fast and upbeat tempo. From the catchy lyrics to the harmonious tune it will easily be played in nightclubs all over. “The Other Side Of Love” will definitely be the next summer jam.
About the album Sean Paul told Voice.,“Some of the songs are dancehall tracks, some are pop tracks, some are dance tracks – it’s a really mixed vibe. After all my years in the industry, I want to express myself through different genres of music. I began with dancehall and I’ll continue to make dancehall music, but I love all types of music.”
