Shaun White is proving he is more than an Olympic gold-medalist snowboarder. His band Bad Things have signed with Warner Bros. Records.
Band Things debut album, produced by Rob Schnapf, is set to release later this year according to The Hollywood reporter.
White formed the Los Angeles band with his childhood friends Anthony Sanudo (guitar) and Lena Zawaideh (drums). White will play guitar. David LeDuke, former lead singer of Billy Boy on Poison, is the frontman, Jared Palomar, former member of Augustana, will play bass according to the Huffington Post.
It seems to be a random group of people thrown together but a little taste of what Shaun White’s band sounds like can be heard below. The band’s first single “Caught Inside,” is streaming via SoundCloud. There is no specific date set for the release of their album.
Bad Things announced their first headlining tour, which kicks off July 11 in New York and ends Aug. 9 in Minneapolis. The full list can be found on the bands Facebook page.
