Action movie stars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger have joined forces for a new prison escape film called Escape Plan. A trailer for the film hit the web this week.

Escape Plan was originally known as The Tomb when it was announced in February 2012, but the powers that be might have decided that this was a bit too morbid for the aging action stars. The film was directed by Mikael Håfström and their co-stars include Vincent D'Onofrio, Jim Caviezel, Sam Neill, 50 Cent and Amy Ryan.

Based on the trailer, it looks like Stallone plays a master escape artist who has been able to escape from every prison he’s ever been in. So, the government decides to hire him to test out a new facility. It seems easy, but once he gets there, he quickly learns that it’s much harder than he thought. Someone on the outside really doesn’t want him to escape. At the prison, he meets Schwarzenegger, another inmate, and the two decide to work together on escaping after they have a fist fight. “You hit like a vegetarian,” Schwarzenegger tells Stallone before the Rocky star lands a punch in his stomach.

Escape Plan is being released by Summit Entertainment on Oct. 18. Its main competition that weekend will be the new Carrie remake from MGM and Sony.
