The Lonely Island have already released singles “Spring Break Anthem,” “YOLO,” and “Spell It Out” through their YouTube channel but are now talking about going on tour.

“It’s just a matter of scheduling now,” Andy Samberg said.

According to Rolling Stone the trio came close with a concert in Chicago but was later canceled.

“We just realized that we needed a few months of free time to really do it right and we want to do it right. We’re not real performers: we have to start from the ground up, so it’s extra difficult for us,” Akiva Schaffer adds.

The Wack Album is the first album post Saturday Night Live. Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Shaffer have posted a new video every Wednesday, “Wack Wednesdays” on their YouTube channel leading up to the June 11 release date.

In an interview with Billboard the trio said there was no other word than wack to describe the album and it fit just like The Beatles had The White Album, Jay-Z had The Black Album, and Weezer had The Blue Album.

Samberg new gig is Fox’s upcoming comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Taccone worked on the MacGruber 2 script.

The Wack Album is set to release on June 11. Guests include Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Adam Levine and many more.

“We’ve just been waiting for a song good enough to bring to President Bill Clinton to play sax on,” Taccone said. “We’re still working on that.”
