On May 7th, English boy-band The Wanted released the music video for their single titled “Walks Like Rihanna.”
The music video itself pays homage to past boy-bands, Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC, much like Blink 182’s “All The Small Things.” The song is about a girl who can’t sing or dance, but the boys love her anyway because she “walks like Rihanna,” the Barbadian pop-star. And Rihanna loves the song! According to Z100, the band members bumped into Rihanna’s manager who told the boys that Rihanna dug their new single and gave them her stamp of approval.
The single is the third single off of their third studio album. According to Idolator, The Wanted announced that their third album will feature Justin Bieber, Dr. Luke, Nasri and Rita Ora.
Although no release date or album name has been released yet, the boys of The Wanted are excited about this album, claiming it as their best yet. They did, however, announce that they will have their own reality T.V. show titled The Wanted Life on E! produced by Ryan Seacrest.
