A two headed turtle was born last week at the San Antonio, Texas Zoo.
Thelma and Louise, for which the rare turtle has been adorably dubbed, was welcomed into the world and is on exhibit at the Friedrich aquarium, KSAT via CNN reports.
Craig Belke, San Antonio Zoo's supervisor of aquatic animals explained, "I don't know. The first day I saw her and held her she seemed like she had a split personality. The right side was looking around very curious, the left side was trying to bit me. But I put my vote on the left side. A little dominant, a little pushy."
According to The Associated Press Wire, Thelma and Louise were born June 18. Debbie Rios-Vanskike, a spokeswoman for the zoo, explains that the turtle appears to be healthy and able to swim. Rios- Vanskike explains that they do not foresee any health issues for Thelma and Louise.
The San Antonio Zoo was previously the home to two-headed snake Janus from 1978-1995.
