Bravado, Universal Music Group has gained the rights to The Beatles merchandise in North America.
According to New York Business Journal Universal Music said the agreement will be effective July 1 bringing The Beatles merchandise under one roof.
Bravado and The Beatles Apple Corps are said to be working together to bring a wide range of new and unique produces in stores and online.
“All of us at Universal Music Group are very excited about extending our relationship with the Beatles’ iconic brand to include both merchandise and their legendary recordings, and about the potential for innovative marketing of creative new products,” UMG Chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge said in a statement.
The New York Post reported The Beatles’ merchandise is estimated to bring in $10 million to $20 million a year. Part of that is due to the Vegas show Love by Cirque du Soleil,” which is based on the band’s music.
The Beatles founded Apple Corps in 1968 to manage the band’s own business and creative interests.
Bravado manages merchandise for the Rolling Stones, including their 50 anniversary shows. Products are expected to be available the beginning of July.
