It was reported that Wyclef Jean could be producing Amanda Bynes’ first single as a rap artist, but the former Fugees star is denying these rumors.

Bynes will release her album through Chinga Chang records and the label’s CEO Daniel Herman had publicly stated that a collaboration between the former What I Like About You star and Jean might possibly happen.

“I think it would be perfect," Herman told E! News about bringing the two together. "Linking the two of them will be something major." He also called Jean “receptive” to the idea.

It looks like it definitely won’t be happening, because Jean told TMZ he has absolutely no plans to work with Bynes and has actually never even met or spoken to her.

Herman has said of Bynes, “I think that she’s more gangster than Drake” and back in May, Bynes tweeted “Look forward to seeing me in music videos ! I'm getting in shape and getting a nose job! I'm looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper!”
