Under The Dome continues to be a big help for CBS this summer, as the miniseries continues to draw in viewers. While it did lose more viewers in week three, it was still enough to lead the network to a tie with ABC in the key demographic.
CBS still earned the most viewers, though, drawing just 6.53 million on the night, notes HitFix. It averaged a 1.7 18-49 rating. Following repeats of How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls and Mike and Molly, Under The Dome drew 10.57 million viewers and a 2.7 18-49 rating. That’s about a million viewers less than last week. ABC also had a 1.7 18-49 rating, but it averaged 5.9 million viewers, putting it in second place. The Bachelorette kicked things off with 6.8 million viewers and a 1.9 18-49 rating. Mistresses followed with 4 million viewers and a 1.2 18-49 rating.
NBC had 4 million viewers and a 1.3 18-49 rating. American Ninja Warrior helped out with 5.1 million viewers and a 1.6 key demo rating, but Get Out Alive’s first episode only had 4.2 million viewers and a 1.4. The show stars former discovery host Bear Grylls. Variety notes that it did actually draw more viewers for its second half hour and was the top-rated reality show premiere of the summer. Siberia had just 2.7 million viewers and a 1.0 18-49 rating.
Fox’s repeats had 1.5 million viewers and a 0.6 18-49 rating.
Worth noting, the Spanish-language networks did well Monday night. Univision had a 1.5 18-49 rating, beating NBC and Fox, while Telemundo also edged past Fox with a 0.6.
