Christina Stephens, an young woman who had her leg amputated, took a challenge from her friend and built herself a new leg out of Legos.

Stephen’s lost the lower half of her leg after being crushed by a car, New York Daily News reports. The rebuilding of the leg by Legos came to face after the girls found the Legos in the basement of her St. Louis basement.

"I liked the idea, because I am very comfortable with my body and like encouraging others to be more comfortable with theirs," she explained to ABC at the time.

Stephen’s opted to film the process of recreating the leg and cut it to appear as a six minute process. The creation of the leg took two full days of work.
Stephens warns other amputees that the Lego leg is not stable as the ankle and foot tend to snap off noting was simply done out of fun. "Please don't do this yourself. I don't want you to fall and get hurt," she said. "Sometimes you just need to be silly."

The video, which Stephens uploaded to YouTube, has received over 500,000 views already.
