Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus will not divorce after all.
Billy Ray filed for divorce in June.
"I spoke to Tish and she told me they both woke up and realized they love each other and decided they want to stay together," family friend Ken Baker E! Online .
Rumors about the reconciliation began earlier this month after photos of the couple apparently on a beach date were published online.
This isn’t the first time that the two have talked about divorce. The entertainment business is well known for putting a lot of strain on relationships.
They decided to try couples counseling to avoid becoming another marriage statistic.
"They went into the therapy with the goal of divorcing in a way that was healthy for the children, but ended up coming out of it with the realization that they in fact want to stay together. Tish sounds happy and energized about having this fresh start,” Baker told Wonderwall .
