Bryan Cranston's 'Breaking Bad' character Walter White is known for his violence in the show, killing several in the past couple of seasons, despite being a former high school chemistry teacher and loving dad.

Cranston has had a variety of roles that show his versatility over the years from Malcolm's silly and often competent dad on 'Malcolm in the Middle' to Walter White. Cranston admitted to GQ magazine in this month's issue that he had violent urges in the past, showing similarities between him and his meth-dealing character.

"I had one girlfriend I wanted to kill…" Cranston told GQ, his girlfriend has been knocking on the door when the thought of murder popped into his head.

"And I envisioned myself killing her, it was so clear, my apartment had a brick wall on one side, and I envisioned opening the door, grabbing her by the hair, dragging her inside, and shoving her head into that brick wall until brain matter was dripping down the sides of it."

Luckily the actor did not act on this visualization.

"Then I shuddered and realized how clearly I saw that happening," Cranston said. "And I called the police because I was so afraid. I was temporarily insane - capable of doing tremendous damage to her and to myself."

Bryan Cranston's fifth and final season of 'Breaking Bad' airs on August 11th.
