Miley Cyrus seemed to have set the standard for twerking in her music video for “We Can’t Stop” but Busta Rhymes and Nicki Minaj released their new video for “Twerk It” and has taken the booty popping dance move back.
The video was shot in Brooklyn and begins with Busta waking up in bed with a woman. He is then magically transported to a nightclub filled with women twerking.
Aside from Busta dressed as a designer-label dictator he transforms into the Spider-man supervillain Venom Rolling Stone reports. Minaj shows up in high-waisted tight jeans and a leopard crop-top. She then proceeds to twerk and rap a few verses.
Pharrell, who produced the song and DJ Khaled join in on the fun.
“Twerk It” will be featured on Busta’s untitled 10 album SPIN reports. There is currently no release date for the album.
Deciding between Miley and Nicki on who can twerk the best is a friendly competition. Miley is a fan of Nicki’s work and dressed as her for Halloween. Nicki has also responded saying she is fond of Miley.
