Celiene Dion is working on a new album and producing the show of fellow French Canadian singer in Las Vegas.

Veronic DiCaire hails from Ontario and opened for Dion in 2008 during her stop in Montreal. She also launched “Veronic Voices,” where she impersonates 50 female artists from Lady Gaga to Whitney Houston.

The show featured DiCaire imitating the voices of Pink, Taylor Swift, Madonna, Celine Dion, Rihanna, Barbra Streisand and many more. Alongside her were six back up dancers, the Voicetts, the Las Vegas Sun reports.

“I’m not looking to make friends in the business because I want to do my job, I want to have a good time and go home to my family. But Veronic—it’s a different scenario. I’m not quite sure why. I want her to be my friend. I lover her. I respect her very, very much,” Dion said to The Associated Press.

Dion also said that Veronic is different than the average impersonators in Vegas.

DiCaire native tongue is French and is making her Vegas debut by breaking out to an English-speaking world. Dion is helping DiCaire with her transition.

Dion made her Vegas debut in 2003 and has filled her 4,000-seat auditorium many times.

“Critics said, ‘Oh, my God, the Titanic’s going to sink again, she’s going to finish her career her,’” Dion said. “We took a chance. It worked really well for us. I don’t have to be here. The reason why I’m here is because I’m really enjoying being here.”

Dion’s first English album in six years is set to release this fall. It includes some collaborations, including one with Ne-Yo.
