An investigation into the death of Cirque du Soleil aerialist Sarah Guillot-Guyard revealed that she did not slip out of her safety harness during her performance. Guillot-Guyard was wearing the harness when she was found on the floor of the stage following a 90 foot fall.

Cirque spokeswoman Renee-Claude Menar clarified reports that Guillot-Guyard fell to her death after slipping from her harness telling LA Times, "Her harness was still on and she did not slip out of her harness.” While her death remains under investigation, Las Vegas Sun reports that a coroner has ruled her death as accidental.

The 31-year-old acrobat died Saturday during the latter part of her performance in “Ka.” A coroner ruled blunt force trauma as the cause of death.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, (OSHA), is currently looking into the cause of the harness’ failure.

Currently, “Ka” has cancelled all of its show times while the investigation into her death moves forward.
