After taking over the charts with their single “Get Lucky” and then with their new album Random Access Memories Daft Punk is releasing action figures later this year to promote their new album even more.
The six-inch action figures will look like the duo, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, dressed in their Random Access Memories outfits according to Rolling Stone.
The duo themselves designed the figures. According to the product description the figures were, “crafted with meticulous attention to detail – [the] helmet area employs a shiny metallic finish and clear parts for enhanced realism.”
The action figures will also have seven interchangeable hand parts to collect to recreate “dynamic posing” according to Billboard.
This is the second time Daft Punk has been shrunken down to promote their music. The “Get Lucky” stars release action figures when their soundtrack to Tron: Legacy was released.
The miniatures are selling for $44.99 and are available on Dec. 27 in North America. Pre-orders are currently available.
