Demi Lovato is firing back at reports that she dissed Justin Bieber during Wednesday’s auditions as USC.
TMZ reports that the former Disney star turned X Factor judge slammed two contestants who tried on for the show singing one of the 19-year-old’s Billboard hits.
Sources told the site that Lovato slammed the contestants attitude during the auditions saying, “We don't need another little punk running the streets."
A different contestant took on Bieber’s, “As Long As You Love Me,” two which the 22-year-old judge critiqued the singer saying, Well finally someone can sing the song the way it was meant to be sung.” TMZ took this a sign that the “Give Your Heart A Break” singer was slamming the way Bieber sang the song.
Lovato has since taken to Twitter to clear the air. “Btw - no shade thrown at Justin. So many people audition with his songs.. Finally someone sang it the way it was meant to be sung..” she tweeted Saturday adding, “Meaning, finally someone sang it the way JUSTIN sang it.”
She later posted, “Ain't got nothin' but love for @justinbieber and his beliebers.”
