The ensemble cast for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar continues to grow, with familiar faces starring in practically every role in the film. The latest actresses to join are Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn and Twilight’s Mackenzie Foy.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the news on Foy, who played Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s child in the last Twilight movies. She also stars in New Line’s The Conjuring, a horror movie opening on Friday.
Meanwhile, The Wrap has also confirmed that Burstyn, who won an Oscar for Alice doesn’t Live Here Anymore, will have a role in the film. She also recently worked with foy in the indie movie Wish You Well and was seen on TV in USA Network’s Political Animals.
Interstellar’s packed cast already includes Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine.
It is a Warner Bros./Paramount co-production and will be released in November 2014. The script was originally written by Nolan’s brother Jonathan Nolan and involves wormholes, alternate dimensions and explorers. All other plot details are under wraps.
This will be Nolan’s first film following 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises. He produced Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel.
