Macklemore & Ryan Lewis along with Justin Timberlake are in the lead for MTV Video Music Awards with six nominations each.

The nominations were announced Wednesday morning through MTV’s Instagram and Vine accounts Billboard reports.

Timberlake is nominated for Video of the Year, Best Male video, Best Pop Video and Best Editing for “Mirrors.” “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z is up for Best Collaboration and Best Direction.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” is nominated for Video of the Year. “Can’t Hold Us” is up for Best Hip Hop video, Best Cinematography, Best direction and Best Editing. “Same Love” is up for Best Video with a Social Message.

Bruno Mars follows the two with four nominations. His video for “Locked Out of heaven” is up for Video of the Year, Best Pop Video and Best Male Video. “Treasure” is up for Best Choreography.

Other artists nominated are Pink, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Drake, Calvin Harris, Kendrick, 30 Seconds to Mars, and fun. according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 30th annual MTV Video Music Awards will take place on Aug. 25 in Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center. The Moonman has also been redesigned by KAWS for this year.
