Kanye West has been all over the media lately due to the birth of his incognito baby girl, North. But the rapper has also been the talk of the crowd due to his new album titled Yeezus.
West had recently announced during a performance that he didn’t care whether or not his music gets on the radio, says Music-Mix. Despite the fact that his album skyrocketed to the number one spot on Billboard 200, it still brought in West’s lowest first-week numbers of his entire career.
On top of that, Huffington Post reports that sales for Yeezus have dropped a jaw-dropping 80% since its release. Due to the disappointing numbers, Billboard announced that there will be a single dropped from the album. The track they chose is “Black Skinhead” and will be dropped just in time for the fourth of July.
“I have this new strategy,” West told a New York listening session. “It’s called no strategy.”
Hopefully this “no strategy” works out for Kanye West.
