Following news that Leah Remini broke ties with the Church of Scientology, Kirstie Alley is said to be angry. She sparked rumors about her disappointment over Remini leaving the church with a series of tweets.
Alley, an avid tweeter, first wrote "When faced w malicious gossip I take a moment to experience the loss of the person I thought was my friend... Then I say f--k em..:) #RISE,” which prompted many to speculate she was referring to Remini and her leaving the church.
She continued, writing, “the sweetest poison is often served with a smile...beware syrup” and also revealed she was at a fellow Scientologist’s home.
On Monday, after possibly catching wind of the gossip, Alley tweeted:
have a good one ...don't believe everything you read ...in fact don't believe anything you read..even better, just stop reading..;) xxo

Tony Ortega a critic of Scientology, reported his sources say Alley is “livid” at Remini for leaving. He also claims there was a meeting called at Melinda Brownstone’s home (the home Alley tweeted about) for a briefing on how to handle Remini’s departure.
Brownstone was asked to comment, and she said “You know what? I have nothing to say.”
