Lady Antebellum lead singer Hilary Scott welcomed her first child today, a daughter, with husband Chris Tyrrell.
A rep for the couple confirms the news to People, saying that baby Eisele Kay Tyrrell was born in Nashville weighing 7lbs 13 oz.
The new dad gushes that Eisele is “incredibly gorgeous.”
The proud mother has taken to Twitter to share her daughter’s footprints as well as to write, “She's here, and we are in HEAVEN!!! Eisele Kaye, our beautiful angel, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!”
Scott announced her pregnancy on Twitter in December 2012. The “Need You Now” singer also revealed shortly thereafter that the only cravings she suffered were sleep and Pop-Tarts.
“There was one night where I looked at my husband and I was like, ‘We really have to go to the grocery store because I need a Pop-Tart right now,” Scott said according to People. “That’s really one of the only cravings I’ve had, that and sleep.”
Baby Eisele Kay shares a birthday with the royal baby whose name is yet to be announced.
