Lady Gaga has been absent from the pop scene since she canceled tour dates to have hip surgery. Now, she is back with a teaser titled “Applause.”
The new track may be on her upcoming album ARTPOP Rolling Stone reports. Gaga’s make up artist Tara Savelo posted Gaga working on what may be the artwork for the new song.
The photo was captioned with “26 days,” which is Aug 19, the date Mother Monster is supposted to release the single.
On Gaga’s website a photo was taken of a notebook that read what seem to be lyrics, “If only fame had an IV/ Baby could I bear/ Being away from you/ I found the vein, put it in here.”
The caption on the notebook photo read, “Documented this album/app ARTPOP project in a series of notes and books, with visual ideas and sketches throughout. I take this book everywhere.”
Gaga is set to play the iTunes Festival in London and will host an “artRave” featuring many artists and performers.
ARTPOP is set to release on Nov. 11.
