As family and friends mourn the death of Glee star Cory Monteith, Lea Michele is left devastated. Sources say things were better than ever between the two, who have been dating since early last year, and they were planning on moving in together before he died tragically on Saturday.
Monteith was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver this past weekend while Michele was in Mexico.
“We ask that everyone kindly respect Lea’s privacy during this devastating time,” is the only statement Michele’s rep has given. A source told NY Daily News, “She is devastated. She was shaking when she heard the news.”
A source also told Us Weekly, "Lea and Cory were planning on moving in together after he got back from Vancouver. They were 100 percent happy and together and in love at the time of his death.”
An autopsy is planned for Monday and Vancouver Police Constable Brian Montague said “We have interviewed everyone he was with the night before. For the most part, it has been turned to the coroner’s office, who will be determining the next steps with respect to establishing cause of death.”
Hotel surveillance cameras saw Monteith going into his hotel room at the Pacific Rim in Vancouver alone on Saturday morning.
