Liam Gallagher is suing the New York Post after running a story that the British singer fathered a lovechild with a New York Times journalist.

According to the report, Gallagher fathered a child with the journalist after she interviewed him for the site. Perez Hilton identifies the woman as Liza Ghorbandi.
Hilton reports that a DNA test has already been conducted and confirms that the Oasis frontman is the father of her less than one-year-old daughter, which means he was cheating on current wife Nicole Appleton, whom he’s been married to since 2008.

“Liza met Liam when she interviewed him for the Times and they began an affair. It continued until around three months after the birth of the child. He ended the relationship when she told him she was suing him for child support,” a source reveals. According to the report, Ghorbandi is suing Gallagher for $3 million in child support.

Gallagher is responding to the claims with a lawsuit of his own.
Guardian reports that Gallagher’s lawyers have confirmed their intentions to move forward and will be "pursuing legal action" against the tabloid. "We are not going to comment on gossip,” they added.
