Is Your Love Big Enough is the debut album from English Soul and Folk artist Lianne La Havas. If you're into smooth music and meaningful lyrics, you'll definitely want to check this one out. Alternatively, if you're growing tired of the dance pop music that keeps being released today, this album is a nice change of pace.
Its 12 tracks are all written by La Havas and producer Matt Hales, with the exception of 3 songs written solely by La Havas. Many of the songs are kept basic with just a piano or guitar. This CD is a lovely blend of soul, folk and Jazz and accompanied with simple but beautiful lyrics it's a great listen all the way through.
With a silky and soulful voice that almost sounds like a mix between Adele and Lauryn Hill, Lianne La Havas is one to keep an out amongst a sea of upcoming artists.
Released in July 2012, Is Your Love Big Enough peaked at no. 4 in the UK and was named iTunes Album of the Year for 2012. La Havas will also be putting on several concerts in the US in July and August 2013.
