Taylor Swift, Cher, Selena Gomez, and Pitbull will perform at the “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” Thursday at 8 p.m ET. An encore will air at 10 p.m.

Mariah Carey and Tim McGraw were previously announced as performers and Nick Cannon will host the special according to Reuters.

Usher is working with the event curator as a celebrity guest curator on the show the New York Post reports and is giving them his artistic opinion.

“I have agonized over making sure that the show is perfect – from giving them visual references, giving them design cues, colors, ideas,” Usher said. “I mean, I wanted to see a winking smile. I hope to see hearts and stars in the sky. If I have a song called ‘Diamonds’ – can we have diamonds in the sky?”

Cher performed on the season finale of The Voice. Her upcoming album is set for release on Sept. 24. Swift is touring North America, and Gomez is promoting her album Stars Dance. All the artists are coming together to celebrate the nation’s 237th birthday.

The show is the largest in the United States with shooting over 40,000 fireworks over the Hudson River.
