Although Summer is still here, Mary J. Blige announced she is releasing a collection of songs for a Christmas album this year.

A Merry Christmas is set to release in October and will feature her covers of many holiday tracks USA Today reports.

Blige is getting help from producer David Foster, who has worked with Michael Buble, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, and Andrea Bocelli on holiday albums in the past.

Artists who will be featured on the album include Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, and Barbara Streisand Idolator reports.

Over the years Blige has receive nine Grammy Awards, nominated for 29, for American Music Awards, has had eight multi-platinum albums, and sold over 50 million records.

A Merry Christmas makes it Blige’s 11 album over all since her debut album What’s the 411? in 1992å her and first seasonal.

Recently, Blige performed “Come Together” with Jennifer Lopez at the “Chime for Change Presents: The Sound of Change Live” charity event in London.
