When Matthew Perry filled in for Piers Morgan on his show Piers Morgan Live, there was a mini Friends reunion when his former co-star Lisa Kudrow appeared on the show as the interviewee.
Perry introduced Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay on the longrunning NBC sitcom, saying "she’s beautiful, she's intelligent , she's hilarious and if memory serves she owes me, errr...47 dollars[...]you may remember her as being the second funniest cast member on Friends.”
They reminisced about the show, Contact Music reports, with Perry saying, "If I had a time machine, I would like to go back to 2004 and not have stopped.”
He and Kudrow agreed they wish it went past its ten seasons.
In a recent interview with CNN, Kudrow admitted she was fooled by the fake promo that was going around that read “The One with the Reunion. Thanksgiving 2013.”
“With this last rumor someone came up with a great graphic with the couch and it looked like a real teaser and I went, "Wait!" And then someone came up with a fake story and got some publication to buy the lie that there was going to be a reunion, so I saw on Twitter people were posting this article that NBC was really going to do it,” she explained. “And I went, 'Wait a minute, was I not invited? Oh my God, maybe there is one and I wasn't asked to do it.' I even had a moment where I believed it because everything around it looked real. It was a good setup.”
