4. Imagine Dragons “Radioactive.” It’s rock, it’s guitars and it’s a track that makes you get up on your feet. Imagine Dragons is proving that they are more than just a one hit wonder and really owning their own style in the rock genre.
3. Phillip Phillips, “Gone, Gone, Gone.” This track is easily one of the most addictive songs of this summer. The guitar rifts and soothing vocals are showcasing why this song is moving up the charts. American Idol victor has translated his indie sound into mainstream success with “Gone, Gone, Gone.”
2. Blake Shelton “Boys ‘Round Here,” is the country anthem of 2013. Voice coach Blake Shelton is topping the country charts with his catchy anthem and is showing his Voice contestants why he is one of the best in current country music.
1. JAY Z featuring Justin Timberlake “Holy Grail.” With their recent co-headlining tour it was no surprise that Timberlake and JAY Z teamed up again. This song is the number one must download of the week. This song feels like a musical masterpiece instead of a top 40 single. JAY Z’s last few studio albums have been pushed musical boundaries and have even created a few genres but this latest album feels like JAY Z has reached the top of his career and has no intention of giving up his throne.
