Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley became household names when they appeared on MTV’s Jersey Shore. When the show ended, they got their own spin-off show called Snooki & JWoww and it has lasted two seasons so far, documenting their life after the phenomenon.
Although it hasn’t been confirmed, the production company behind the show, 495 Productions, has paid a film permit to shoot at two houses near the Jersey Shore, one in the Pelican Island area of Berkeley and another in Seaside Heights.
According to AceShowBiz, Seaside Heights Business Administrator, John A. Camera, confirmed the production company said it was for a show with a "pretty light filming schedule at that address. It seems like it is a very small production and we are not looking at much need for security at this point."
Nonetheless, officials aren’t happy with the girls returning to the short to film.
Berkeley Township Council President James Byrnes said, “We don't even have time for this nonsense. We don't need another distraction right now," as the town continues to rebuild after being hit by Hurricane Sandy,” to which Snooki replied to on Twitter, writing:
Don't worry James Byrnes,we won't be a "distraction"towards you&the community,i have a family just like everyone else that enjoys the shore

USA Today reports Michael Gracien, the borough's public affairs officer, is the one who owns the Seaside Heights home they will reportedly film at and the Pelican Island home is owned by Mike Loundy of Point Pleasant Beach, who also owns the famous Jersey Shore house in Seaside Heights where the cast filmed the show.
