If Amanda Bynes is looking to jump-start a music career, she probably couldn’t get any better support than from Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey's husband and America’s Got Talent host. Cannon said that she called him up and he said that he’s got her back.

In an interview with Life & Style, Cannon said, “She actually called me and I told her, ‘Yo, if you need any help, I got you!” He added, “At the end of the day, I know a duet between us would be entertaining!”

The Wild 'N Out host also said that Bynes’ collaboration with Waka Flocka Flame is still on. “She’s real excited about what she’s gonna do with Waka,” Cannon said.

Bynes has been interested in starting a rapping career since May. Later, producer Daniel Herman confirmed that she made a deal with Changa Chang Records.

The troubled actress hasn’t done much tweeting about her music career lately, though. She appeared in court earlier this week, wearing a blue wig and sweat pants. Meanwhile, a soruce for Fox News claims that she’s been seeking treatment for anger issues.

“Amanda is very serious about the rap career,” Fox’s insider added. “And I think she will surprise people. She’s actually very good.”
