Jay-Z and Beyonce joined forces to make another hit, which will be featured on Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail, and it was leaked on Fourth of July. The album was released to Samsung customers on Thursday but its general release is July 7.
"Part II (On the Run)” is a sequel to 2003’s "'03 Bonnie and Clyde,” which was featured on Beyonce’s Dangerously in Love album.
E! Online celebrated the release of Magna Carta Holy Grail on Wednesday at a party hosted by Samsung in Brooklyn, New York.
Other celebrities who attended the event were producer Timbaland, Tyson Beckford, Raekwon and Nick Cannon.
Lyrics for the song include Beyonce singing, "Who wants that perfect love story anyway anyway/cliché cliché cliché. Who wants that hero love that saves the day anyway, cliché cliché cliché.”
Jay-Z also raps in a verse, "I'm an outlaw, Got an outlaw chick/Bumping 2Pac, on my outlaw s—t/Matching tats, this ink don't come off/Even if rings come off off, if things ring off.”
