Pixies posted their first new song “Bagboy” since 2004 and have already added a new bassist just two week after Kim Deal left the band.

“Bagboy” was recorded in 2012, when Deal was still in the band. Instead of releasing audio, then a lyric video the band decided to go straight for the video USA Today reports. The video shows the bagboy riding his bike home with groceries, bathing in a tub of Froot Loops, and vandalizing someone’s house.

Black Francis said in a statement, “The lyrics, coincidentally, were composed at a Starbucks Coffee in Harvard Square in Cambridge, about a hundred feet from where, 25 years ago, I composed some of the lyrics to an old Pixies song called “Break My Body,” The music for the song has been around for a few years.”

Rolling Stone reports “Bam Thwok” was the last new song the Pixies released. It was also a download-only single. The song went along with the band’s reunion in 2004 after their 1993 breakup.

Kim Shattuck was a member of Los Angeles pop-punk band the Muffs and will join the Pixies on their upcoming world tour starting in Paris on Sept. 29.

“Along with everyone’s favorites, we’ll be playing songs that we haven’t played in ages or never played live before. Songs like ‘Brick is Red,’ ‘Havalina,’ ‘Tony’s Theme,’ and ‘Sad Punk.’ We’ve probably rehearsed some 80 songs, so we’ll be able to change up the set at the last minute if we fell like it,” Francis said.
