Kim Deal, a cofounder of the Pixies, has been replaced by bassist Kim Shattuck, who will appear on their world tour beginning in September.

The band recently released their first song since 2004, “Bagboy,” though neither Deal (pictured below) nor Shattuck (left) appear on the track, according to MTV.

The tour, which begins on September 29 in Paris, will be their first in two years, last three months, and visit ten countries.

The band will release even more new tracks, which fans have been desperately awaiting, on their tour.

“Along with everyone's favorites, we'll be playing songs that we haven't played in ages or never played live before,” frontman Black Francis commented, reports Billboard.

“Songs like ‘Brick is Red,’ ‘Havalina,’ ‘Tony's Theme,’ and ‘Sad Punk.’ We've probably rehearsed some 80 songs, so we'll be able to change up the set at the last minute if we feel like it. We're all really looking forward to this tour.”

The group announced earlier this month on Twitter that Deal, who helped form the band after responding to a newspaper ad in 1986, would be leaving the band.
