Impact is the third and latest album from hard rock metal quintet Prospect Hill. The band consists of dreadlock haired front man Adam Fithian known as ‘The Voice,’ guitarist, Derek (D-Rock) Rousseau, drummer Mark (Bamo) Roberge, bassist and vocals, Edgar (Paco) Troncoso and guitarist John Roberge. The Massachusetts natives have been long life friends and have embarked on their journey in the music scene.

The name Prospect Hill comes from a local neighborhood. About the band name Prospect Hill said on their website ProspectHillMusic, “When something natural, organic and unforced finds its audience and connects, there really is no stopping it. That's what Prospect Hill has done and will continue to do. The foundation has been laid. Now it's time to build atop of what's already there.”

Prospect Hill is a high-energy metal band that combines the raw elements of rock n’ roll and inspirational lyrics. “Townie” opens the album and it showcases Fithian’s vocals in dynamic ways. He goes from screaming to melodic singing. With having two guitarists on board it does manipulate and plays up the heavy metal sound. The single has a catchy chorus that will have you singing along.

The following single is “Life Goes On” mirrors the same momentum and intensity as in the single “Townie.” What makes this song different from the previous song is the prominent beat of the drums and chilling guitar riffs. The album takes a softer and slower tempo in the single “Superhero.” We are reacquainted with Fithian’s melodic voice and heartfelt lyrics, “Don’t you cry those tears, I’ll save you, let me be your superhero.”

“Come Alive” shifts the album back on track to hard and fast rock n’ roll. It is the catchy single that holds a serious meaning. According to Screamer Magazine “Come Alive” was inspired by Roberge’s experience with his friends addictions to prescription drugs. The lyrics are his request for them to come to terms with their addiction and to start living live on a clean slate.

Overall Impact by Prospect Hill is a riveting hard rock album that is worth listening to.
