The Offspring, Parkway Drive, and Simple Plan were announced in the line-up for the Vans Warped Tour of Australia.
This will be Vans Warped Tour return to Australia in more than a decade according to Billboard. Founder Kevin Lyman took the tour to Australia in 2002 and brought acts including Pennywise, Guttermouth, MxPx and the Vandals, and New Found Glory.
Warped Tour has strayed away from Australia for so long because a riot broke out during the last festival.
Other acts included this year are, New Found Glory, The Used, Hatebreed, Tonight Alive, and H2O.
“I definitely think there is a more sense of . . . a family. You’ll be able to see everything . . . The main stages are always really close to each other and you can kind of see a little bit of everything,” New Found Glory told Music Feeds talking about the difference between SoundWave and Warped Tour.
The tour starts Nov. 29 in Brisbane and continues until Dec. 8 in Adelaide. Tickets go on sale July 18, 9 a.m. local Australian time.
