Vice President Joe Biden has not ruled out running for the Oval Office again. Biden revealed in a new interview that he might still run for President in 2016, even though he will be 74 in November 2016.

Biden gave GQ an in-depth interview and was asked about 2016. “The judgment I'll make is, first of all, am I still as full of as much energy as I have now—do I feel this?” he said. “Number two, do I think I'm the best person in the position to move the ball? And, you know, we'll see where the hell I am.”

The former Delaware Senator said that he has portraits of Thomas Jefferson and John Adams in his office, two vice presidents who later became presidents. “I joke to myself, I wonder what their portraits looked like when they were vice presidents,” he said.

He also told GQ, that he “can die a happy man never having been President of the United States of America. But it doesn't mean I won't run."

According to The New York Daily News, Biden, 70, also ran for president in 1988 and then again in 2008.

It’s been speculated that he would make another run for the Oval Office, but some think it wouldn’t be a good idea, especially if former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton runs in 2016. Clinton hasn’t confirmed anything, but she hasn’t slowed down since retiring from politics.
