The Westboro Baptist Church has announced they will protest Glee star Cory Monteith’s funeral, sending numerous cryptic messages on Twitter to their 15,000 followers.
Their official Twitter account sent tweets to each member of the Glee cast saying:
@LeaGleeFans PRAISE GOD for killing Cory Monteith — a wicked fag-enabler before God! Westboro Baptist Church to picket funeral. #Judgment
— Westboro Baptist (@WBCSays) July 14, 2013
But they didn’t stop there. They made it their mission to let their followers know they thought Monteith was a “sinner” who “taught millions to sin.”
“Westboro Baptist Church is GLEE-ful over God’s righteous judgment to end @CoryMonteith’s life! Funeral picket soon!” they wrote.
Us Weekly notes they even involved his girlfriend Lea Michele, saying if she killed herself "Then the wedding can go on as planned IN HELL! -- invites for all their fans!"
Westboro Baptist Church criticized Monteith’s participation in Glee, a show that promotes equality and features same-sex couples.
