Wiz Khalifa signs deal with Converse (video)

Wiz Khalifa is having an eventful year but recently he partnered with Converse to release his own collection.

Khalifa’s record label, Atlantic Records, posted a video teaser of the rapper supporting the shoes. The clip shows him performing on stage while his song “Work hard, Play Hard” plays in the background. A preview of the style is also given to the fans.

Khalifa has supported classic Chuck look on and off the stage for many years. The collection will be called Wiz Khalifa Collection by Converse Billboard reports and will be available Aug. 23 via Foot Locker.

This year has been eventful for Khalifa. His now wife Amber Rose gave birth to their son Sebastian “The Bash” Taylor Thomaz Hip Hop Wire reports. He also announced he is releasing his third album Blacc Hollywood this fall.

Khalifa’s “Under the Influence of Music” tour with Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era, B.o.B and A&AP Rockey kicked off a the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, Calif. on Wednesday as well.
