Ron Burgundy is the most famous fictional newsman in America and even though he told his story in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, he’s decided to write it all down for a tell-all memoir that will be released just before The Legend Continues.

Let Me Off at the Top!: My Classy Life and Other Musings will be released digitally and in stores on Nov. 20, reports Entertainment Weekly. The book will feature tales from Burgundy’s childhood, his early days in broadcast journalism and his rise to the most trusted newsman in San Diego. Burgundy will also share anecdotes about his friends and the many women he’s been with.

“I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work,” Burgundy said in a statement, reports Today.com. “I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing...I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!”

The book will be published by Crown Archetype.

Burgundy was created by Will Ferrell and writer/director Adam McKay for the cult 2004 movie. Ferrell played the character again in The Legend Continues, which opens on Dec. 20. Anchorman is also being celebrated with an exhibit at the Newseum in Washington DC starting in November. Hopefully, his memoir stays classy.
