Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. are teaming up to bring some Chicken Soup for the Soul to the big screen. Alcon will put together a film based on characters and stories on the best-selling book series.
According to Deadline, Alcon founders Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove secured a deal with Chicken Soup for the Soul Publishing, LLC. to make a film, which will be released by Warner Bros. though its deal with Alcon. The Kerner Entertainment Company’s Jordan Kerner (The Smurfs) will produce the film with Johnson and Kosove.
Alcon hired Love Happens writer Brandon Camp to pen the screenplay. The executive producers are Ben Haber, Bill Rouhana and Tim Rouhana. Kate Moulene is co-producer.

Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen began Chicken Soup for the Soul in 1993. The worldwide brand is now overseen by publisher Amy Newmark and CEO Bill Rouhana.
