Amber Tamblyn is set to join the cast of Two and a Half Men as the long-lost daughter of the deceased Charlie Harper, formerly played by Charlie Sheen.

CBS, which airs the show now approaching its 11th season, told E! News that Tamblyn’s character Jenny will be a recurring guest star for at least five episodes of the new season following Jenny’s move to LA to pursue acting and to connect with what’s left of her paternal branch of the family.

“The character as we know her now as she only exists on the page is a pretty remarkably strong and ballsy character,” teased creator Chuck Lorre, who calls Jenny “a chip off the old block.”

One thing Jenny has inherited from her father is a great love for the ladies. “The idea that she loves women seems to be something that just felt right,” said Lorre. However, he adds that Jenny isn’t a lesbian, but would be “bisexual.”

Another big change for season 11 is the loss of Angus T Harper from the opening credits, as he will no longer be a series regular. “I’m hopeful that he’ll care out some time to do some episodes and he’s certainly not written out of the series by any means,” Lorre told E! News. Harper made headlines after he infamously trashed the show on Youtube.

Two and a Half Men premieres Sept. 26 on CBS.
