From medical student to Charlie Sheen’s illegitimate daughter, Amber Tamblyn has been confirmed to be on the next season of Two and Half Men . Tamblyn joined less than a month after CBS announced that Angus T. Jones would not be returning for their 11th season. Tamblyn is playing a 21 year old who moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She also happens to be the illegitimate child of Charlie Sheen’s character who wants to reconnect with the rest of her family.
According to Deadline, there is a certain twist with Tamblyn’s character. They note, “she likes everything her dad liked, including women.”
For now, Tamblyn will only have a five episode arc in the show but she could possibly move into series regular and replace Jones, who was the “half” of Two and a Half Men. According to Hitfix , if Tamblyn is promoted to series regular then, “There is a scenario for Jenny to eventually move in with Walden (Kutcher) and her uncle Alan Harper (Cryer).”
Tamblyn has previously been on House M.D, and recently completed a miniseries called The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.
