After battling health issues over the last few months, Aretha Franklin has made a “miraculous recovery.”

Associated Press reports that the “Respect” singer recently had a CAT scan and the results show that she is in an 85 percent-improved condition. Doctors are pleased with the recovery progress.

“My treatments are going very well. My last CAT scan, my doctor at the CAT scan and everyone who sees this says that this is miraculous, absolutely miraculous.”

71-year-old Franklin was forced to cancel several concerts this year but didn't disclose the specifics on her health condition.

She hinted that the condition is very common for women and it is related to her health issue that arose three years ago.

Franklin wishes to rest in order to recover completely before she takes the stage again. She does however, hope that is soon, and according to Star Pulse, she even hopes to start work on a new album soon. "I can't wait for that. They're working on the tracks now."
