Vice President's son Beau Biden awaits test results at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston as doctors evaluate a mass found in his brain to determine whether or not it could be cancerous.

The Delaware attorney general experienced weakness and disorientation last Wednesday on his way to Indiana for a family vacation, according to the Daily News.

Biden originally went to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago but then transferred to a Philidelphia hospital in order to consult with his doctor. When he was discharged, he enjoyed last weekend in Wilmington at his home. Monday night Biden was administered medical tests in Houston.

The 44-year-old's condition is unknown, and it remains unclear if this is a result of his mild stroke in 2010, reports The Washington Times.

The vice president is reportedly by his son's side in Texas, but he is still scheduled to join President Obama's bus tour later in the week.

He and wife Hallie have two children, Natalie and Hunter.

Biden took to Twitter to express his gratitude for everyone's concern. He also promised to share updates when he receives the test results.
