Country stars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have been recruited for the sixth consecutive time to host the CMA Awards in Nashville in November, ABC and the Country Music Association announced on Tuesday. It was also announced during last night’s CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock event.

“Carrie and Brad are the consummate hosts," said Ed Hardy, President of the CMA Board of Directors, in a statement. "They have the respect of our industry, artistic credibility, critical acclaim and a quick-witted, genuine rapport that makes them popular with our audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them back as hosts for the sixth year."

Paisley has racked up 14 CMA Awards, starting his career off with the Horizon Award for Best New Artist in 2000. He also won the top prize - Entertainer of the Year - in 2010. He won Male Vocalist for three years in a row from 2007 to 2009. His latest album is Wheelhouse.

Underwood has scored five awards, including three straight Female Vocalist of the Year awards from 2006 to 2008. She also scored Single of the Year in 2007 and the Horizon Award in 2006. Her most recent album is Blown Away, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart.

The 47th Annual CMA Awards will honor the best of country music from July 2, 1012 to June 30, 2013. The nominees will be announced in September and the awards will be handed out live on Wednesday, Nov. 6 starting at 8 p.m.
