Chuck star Zachary Levi has brought back his nerdy headquarters, Nerd HQ, to the annual international comic book and entertainment festival!
Sponsors this year included Intel & ASUS, The FIAT Brand and Perfect World Entertainment which provided the HQ with latest technology and exclusive sneak peeks to some of the newest, cutting edge gadgets soon to be released. The aim of Nerd HQ was allowing guests to release their inner “nerdiness” and experiment with a huge variety of technology.
Also hosted by Levi and his website (The Nerd Machine) was the philanthropic event, “Conversation for a Cause” which enabled fans to purchase tickets and attend the panel. The panel is unmoderated therefore fans were able to ask more intimate questions regarding the latest movies, games, television series and technology in general. Guests included Levi himself, Jim Lee the DC Comics artist and stars such as Tom Hiddleston, Nathan Fillion, Jensen Ackles, Evangeline Lilly and many more.
Other than the star-studded panel, signings and private photograph opportunities were also given. Levi managed to raise a whopping amount of $215,000 for Operation Smile and set a brand new record!
