David Cassidy has been arrested for a DUI in upstate New York, near Albany. He was pulled over for driving with his high beams on and when the arresting officer smelled alcohol, he gave him a field sobriety test, which he failed.
After Cassidy blew a .1 in his breathalyzer test, he was taken into custody and released on $2,500 bail shortly after.
According to TMZ, considering Cassidy has another drunk driving arrest on his record, he’s facing a felony charge.
The Partridge Family star lives in Florida year-round but spends a lot of time in Schodack, New York. He’s a regular at the Saratoga race track and spends some of the summer there.
Albany Times Union’s report conflicts with TMZ’s, saying he was arrested at a DUI checkpoint.
After his 2011 DUI, he plead no contest to the felony charge and was sentenced to 1 year of probation and got his license suspended for six months. He also had to attend drunk driving classes, pay a $500 fine and serve 50 hours of community service.
His court date is scheduled for Sept. 4.
