Elisabeth Hasselbeck is moving on from The View and into her new position as co-host on Fox & Friends.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Hasselbeck will debut in her new role on September 16. Hasselbeck will join Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, who have been on the show since 1998. According to the report, a new set design will be unveiled that Monday as well.
Hasselbeck departed from her post on The View early last month following months of speculation that the blonde beauty’s conservative views were a turn off for viewers.
In June, it appeared View cohost Sherri Shepherd had a slip of the tongue when she seemingly hinted that Hasselbeck would not return.
Following her departure from The View, Hasselbeck said of her new role on Fox, “I have been a long-time fan of Fox & Friends and am excited to be joining their team in September as it is an honor to call the Fox News Channel my new television home.”
